Supporting Your Well-Being as a Graduate Student

Graduate school can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging. The Biomedical Engineering Students’ Association (BESA) is committed to promoting the well-being, safety, and overall support of Biomedical Engineering graduate students.

This page highlights university-wide wellness, accessibility, and support resources available to students. BESA does not provide these services directly, but aims to help students navigate and access appropriate supports when needed.

Mental Health & Well-Being

University-wide resources supporting mental health, stress management, and personal well-being.

Confidentiality & Seeking Help

Many university support services offer confidential consultations. Students are encouraged to review privacy and confidentiality policies on each service’s website. Seeking support is a sign of strength, and students are encouraged to access resources early rather than waiting until challenges escalate.
